External Affairs

Vice President of External Affairs - Ben Templin

Welcome to the Office of External Affairs! Our Board is comprised of the Community Relations and Government Relations committees. As a board, we are tasked with increasing Georgia Tech’s presence locally, regionally, and nationally through civic engagement, community service, and collaboration with other organizations. Each year, we plan a variety of events that help us achieve these goals; from promoting voter registration with #WreckTheVote, to hosting campus-wide events in the Atlanta area, to bringing Tech students to the Capitol, we work to spread Tech's prestige outside of our campus.

Community Relations

Committee Chairs - Jeff Week and Michelle Voykovic

The Community Relations committee works to connect Tech students with events and programs in and around the Atlanta area. This year, we will plan events to help students with financial literacy, work to plan service events around Atlanta, and host fun events to help our students explore the city!

Government Relations

Committee Chairs - Josephine Graves and Helena Wright

The Government Relations committee is focused on better engaging Tech students with government this year through a voter registration drive, keeping students informed on what is happening in our state government, and by continuing to send student advocates to the State Capitol.
