SGA Emergency Fund

SGA Emergency Fund

One of the Student Government Association’s (SGA) responsibilities is to provide opportunities for students to help each other become the best versions of themselves. Being a Georgia Tech student is difficult enough without having to worry about where your next meal will come from or how you are going to pay rent that month. To that end, we have created the first-ever student-led emergency fund at Georgia Tech. The SGA Emergency Fund will allow students to support each other during times of crisis, so they can focus on earning their degree. This money can be used for things like medical bills, rent money, winter clothes, laptop repairs, and anything else that impacts someone’s ability to complete college successfully.

If you have experienced an unexpected emergency that will limit your ability to be a successful student at Georiga Tech, please apply to the fund. Before applying to the SGA Emergency Fund, please read over our policy parameters below.

If you are in need of immediate assistance please contact the Dean of Students Office
