2006-2007
- Smoothed Student transition away from Graduate Student Assistantships
- Helped ensure that Summer 2006 Ph.D. commencement ticketing worked for most degree recipients
- Worked to ensure that the Graduate Living Center would be graduate-focused
- Aided in implementation of mandatory student health insurance plan
- Held record-setting Graduate Student Picnic with approximately 1,300 attendees
- Worked with Office of Student Integrity to adopt new Student Code of Conduct
- Represented graduate students’ views on athletic fee increase
- Worked for $200 contribution to GTA/GRA health insurance for Spring 2007
- Appointed with Dr. Liotta the first Graduate Student Ombudsperson
- Worked toward payroll deduction without service charges for GTAs and GRAs, to begin Fall 2007
- Advocated for a thorough review of stipend policies, now underway
- Advocated for a reorganization of the Office of the Provost to provide more attention to graduate students
- Organized record-setting Graduate Student Symposium with participants and funding from all six colleges
