Judicial Branch: Your Integrity

How We Serve You

The Graduate Judiciary Council (GJC) is appointed annually and hears cases involving graduate student violations of Georgia Tech’s student Code of conduct.  The Judiciary also rules on issues involving constitutionality within the GSS and on contested elections.  The GSG President appoints the members of the Graduate Judiciary with the advice and consent of the Senate.  Constitutionally, the number of justices is between five and seven, including the chair.  None of the justices may be members of the Senate or officers in the GSS during their terms.

To serve on the GJC meets only a few times a year and thus does not require a large time commitment.  If you are interested in serving in this capacity please contact the GSG President.
